Summer in Montenegro

Montenegro is a country that ticks all the boxes; stunning mountains, sandy beaches on the crystal clear Adriatic Sea, historic old town centres, fantastic wine and tasty cuisine, friendly inviting people! The Centre for Sustainable Tourism Initiatives (CSTI) of Montenegro has been working to create a more ‘local’ experience for travellers to get out and see more of the country side. Travellers can now, through the partner company of CSTI, Montenegro Adventures, book a range of adventure and eco-based tours, village trekking, hiking, rafting… you name it!

Many people do not really consider Montenegro when planning their summer holidays. However, with the efforts of CSTI and Montenegro Adventures, they really should! Sure there are a lack of cheap flights, but if you fly directly into Dubrovnik via Sky Europe, the Bay of Kotor, Budva and capital city, Podgorica, are only a short drive by taxi costing less than EUR 100 for a group of 4.
